Lenzing AG has once again been recognised by global non-profit organisation CDP for its transparent and comprehensive environmental reporting, securing a Triple “A” rating across climate change, forests and water security.

The achievement places Lenzing among only 23 companies worldwide to feature on CDP’s Corporate A List in all three categories in 2025, from more than 22,000 companies that disclosed environmental data. For Lenzing, this marks the fourth time it has attained the prestigious Triple “A” status.

According to Georg Kasperkovitz, member of the managing board of Lenzing AG, the renewed recognition underlines the company’s consistent and measurable approach to sustainability. He highlighted improvements in water and forest management, alongside maintaining a high climate rating, as evidence of effective work across key operational areas.

CDP operates the world’s largest environmental database and aligns its disclosure system with global standards such as the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures. Its ratings are widely used by investors and business partners as a benchmark for environmental performance.

Lenzing’s sustainability strategy focuses on core areas including decarbonisation, sustainable sourcing of raw materials and responsible water use. The group sources wood and fibre pulp exclusively from sustainable origins, optimises raw material utilisation, improves energy efficiency and continues to invest in renewable energy.

Further details on targets and progress are available in the company’s Sustainability Report, with the 2025 Annual and Sustainability Report scheduled for publication in March 2026.
