Bangladesh’s Knittex Industries Ltd., part of the Mondol Group, has strengthened its commitment to high-quality knitted garment production with the installation of a Mahlo Orthopac RVMC-15 weft straightener. Installed by Tootal Quality Resources, the advanced system ensures precise fabric alignment and supports the company’s focus on continuous improvement across its manufacturing operations.

Founded in the late 2000s, Knitex Dresses Ltd. has become one of Bangladesh’s leading vertical knits manufacturers. As part of the renowned Mondol Group, the company is recognised for its vertical integration, responsible manufacturing practices, and strong emphasis on sustainability and social responsibility. Its two manufacturing campuses are located in Sardagong, Gazipur, and Mirzapur, Tangail, covering the full textile value chain from knitting and dyeing to printing, finishing, and garmenting. This structure allows the company to maintain strict quality control, fast lead times, and high efficiency.

With a workforce of more than 2500 employees, Knitex produces a broad range of knitwear for international customers. Its facilities process approximately 25,000 kg daily in both knitting and dyeing, supported by garment production lines capable of producing several tens of thousands of pieces across multiple categories.

Quality, employee welfare, and sustainability form the core principles of the company’s philosophy, guiding its continuous investment in modern technology. The recent installation of the Mahlo Orthopac RVMC-15 represents a further step in ensuring premium fabric quality. Mahlo’s optical weft straightener is engineered to correct fabric distortions across a wide range of applications, ensuring accurate alignment at the beginning of the finishing process.

The machine was installed and commissioned by Mahlo’s long-standing partner in Bangladesh, Tootal Quality Resources, ensuring seamless integration and technical support.

With the new Mahlo technology now in place, Knitex Dresses Ltd. reinforces its ability to deliver flawless fabrics, minimise waste, and enhance operational efficiency. The investment further demonstrates the company’s dedication to sustainability, innovation, and consistent product excellence.
