Shima Seiki, a leading flat knitting machine manufacturer of Wakayama, will participate in a private exhibition to be held by its Turkish sales representative Tetas Ic Ve Dis Ticaret A.S. at its showroom in Istanbul, Turkey next month.

On display will be the cutting edge in computerised textile machine technology, represented by the latest Wholegarment knitting machine and design system, the company reports.

Wholegarment knitting machines

On display will be a range of Wholegarment knitting machines including the latest MACH2XS with original SlideNeedle on four needle beds and spring-loaded moveable sinkers. The SRY series features a pair of loop presser beds that allows production of unique hybrid knit-weave fabrics as well as technical textiles. “The SVR workhorse series resets the industry benchmark for shaping machines, while the SSR series offers industry-leading technology in an economical package,” the company reports.

Also on display will be the SIP flatbed inkjet printing machine that features a height adjustable printing head that allows for printing onto 3D textures, as well as finished products, such as Wholegarment items. Tetas A.S. is also market representative for Shima Seiki computerised cutting machines, and will be displaying the P-CAM160 single-ply cutting machine at the show.

SDS-ONE APEX3

Demonstrations will be performed on the SDS-ONE APEX3 design system that is at the core of the company’s Total Knitting System concept. With comprehensive support of the knit supply chain, APEX3 is designed to integrate knit production into one smooth and efficient workflow from planning and design to machine programming, production and even sales promotion.

Photo-realistic simulation capability allows Virtual Sampling to minimise the need for actual sample-making, effectively reducing time, material and cost while increasing presentation quality in the sampling process, the manufacturer explains. APEX3 also supports design and simulation in a variety of other industries such as circular knitting, weaving, pile weaving and printing.
