Lectra, the world leader in integrated technology solutions dedicated to the soft goods industries, announced its partnership today with 24 Seven, the premier talent resource for fashion, home furnishings, retail, beauty, marketing and creative in the United States.

Through this partnership, Lectra will provide 24 Seven's certified freelancers with Kaledo, the latest in design-specific software solutions, as well as related training and consulting services.

The purpose of the partnership is to support current transitions in the fashion industry as more fashion companies are turning to freelance designers while the fashion industry as a whole is moving over to the Kaledo platform, according to Jill Simmons, Kaledo Business Development Manager at Lectra. "24 Seven and Lectra are now working together to ensure that textile and fashion professionals are equipped with the skill sets necessary to support these shifts," she said.

Kaledo offers design professionals the most advanced textile and fashion solutions on the market, specifically for the development of prints, knits, and wovens, the creation of mini-bodies, and the management of collections. It combines the power of both U4ia and Primavision with the industry's only centralized fashion repository. Kaledo Collection streamlines concept development and revision management.

24 Seven's mission is to provide the best talent in fashion and retail to leading names such as Gap, BCBG, Jimmy Choo, Juicy Couture and Kellwood Company according to Sheilah Hogan, Senior Vice President of 24 Seven. "24 Seven's goal is to be in front of the industry trends and indentify solutions for the needs of our clients before they need them. With Lectra's partnership we can continue to provide our talent community with the top integrated technology solutions available, and our clients with a trained talent pool."

"Lectra is dedicated to the development of professionals in the fashion industry," Simmons said. "We are delighted to partner with a leading talent company like 24 Seven who shares our values of excellence, innovation, and commitment to the industry. We believe this partnership is a perfect fit between Lectra solutions and the needs of the fashion market."
