Lenzing, Austria
For the fifth consecutive year, Lenzing has been awarded Platinum status in the EcoVadis sustainability rating, placing the Austrian fibre manufacturer among the top one percent of companies worldwide assessed by EcoVadis. The result reinforces Lenzing’s reputation as a leader in sustainable and responsible fibre production.
“Five consecutive platinum ratings – that is more than recognition, it is proof of leadership,” said Rohit Aggarwal, CEO of Lenzing Group. “We don’t just follow standards, we set them. At Lenzing, sustainability is a strategic and measurable value driver – for our company, our partners and for society.”
The 2025 rating highlights the company’s strongest progress in the areas of labour and human rights, as well as ethics, underlining its long-term focus on integrity and responsible growth. The achievement reflects Lenzing’s ongoing implementation of its ESG strategy and enhances its visibility in an increasingly sustainability-driven market environment.
Founded in 2007, EcoVadis is the world’s largest provider of corporate sustainability ratings, evaluating more than 150,000 companies across the key categories of environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Lenzing continues to perform strongly across all these areas.
