High quality Italian knitwear manufacturer Maglificio Pini has launched a new corporate video, which illustrates a passion for knitwear, a bond with nature and its own heritage. The family company, which is based in the town of Forlì, close to Rimini on Italy’s Adriatic coast, was founded in 1977 by Giuseppe Pini.

Today, the second generation of Pini’s run the company, making approximately 50,000 pieces each year for some of the world’s leading brands, with a highly skilled staff of 45 and around 30 Shima Seiki flat knitting machines. Pini has around 4000 exquisite pieces of knitwear in its online digital archive.

“Never before has the world had to keep up with technology as in the last year to cope with the limitations imposed by the pandemic,” says the company’s sales and account manager Marina Pini.

Maglificio Pini has decided to focus on digitization, with the renewal of its website and digital archive, the expansion of its presence on social networks, and in particular Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn. “The goal is to shorten the distances between Maglificio Pini and the rest of the world as much as possible,” Ms. Pini explains.

With this in mind, Maglificio Pini's newest corporate video was created, “a story of the thread that binds reality to tradition, a thread that intertwines customers' style with passion for knitwear and professionalism.”

In the video the love for knitwear shines through in the images of the company, the people, and their daily activities - but relevance is also given to the place where Maglificio Pini was born in 1977, among the peaks of the Casentinesi National Park Forest, showcasing, despite how much the world has radically changed in these 44 years, an incredible bond and true respect for nature that has clearly remained a founding value.

The goal is to show the brilliance of Made in Italy through the work and dedication of all the people who commit themselves every day to the creation of excellence: garments of the highest quality for which Maglificio Pini is known and renowned worldwide.

Through these frames the second generation of the Pini family is shown carrying on what was started by Pippo, the founder of the company, with Lucia, Martina and Francesco wanting to continue to pass on know-how, mastery and quality.

The video was made by Walter Molfese, in collaboration with Gardelli Specialty Coffee of Forlì. The outdoor images were shot in the Casentinesi Forest National Park and in the historic centre of Forlì.
