MarediModa will once again take part in Milano Unica from 20–22 January, presenting a curated selection of fabric and accessory collections for summer 2027. Founded in 2002, MarediModa has built its reputation through its specialist trade shows in Cannes, and subsequently Miami and London, promoting European-made fabrics and accessories for beachwear, lingerie and athleisure with controlled and transparent origins.
The Milanese exhibition, widely recognised as a benchmark event for high-end textiles, aligns closely with MarediModa’s commitment to supporting the European textile sector. Despite challenging market conditions, both organisations continue to champion an ethical and forward-looking approach to textile innovation. Now in its 42nd edition, Milano Unica hosts more than 700 exhibitors, over half of them Italian, and has firmly positioned itself as a leading platform for premium textile sourcing.
At the show, MarediModa will host a dedicated area described as a fair within the fair, complemented by an external route, where selected companies from its network will present their latest fabric and accessory collections. The focus will be on innovation, creativity and responsible production for the next summer season.
The Lycra Company will also return in its role as official partner of MarediModa, using the Milan event to highlight recent developments in renewable fibre solutions. These include a fibre made partly from plant-based raw materials, offering the same performance as conventional elastane while reducing environmental impact. Garments developed in collaboration with Arena and Carvico will be displayed within The LYCRA Company’s exhibition space.
Commenting on the collaboration, MarediModa president Claudio Taiana said the partnership with Milano Unica has delivered consistently positive results, allowing the organisation to bring its specialised expertise and values to Milan. He noted that the event provides an ideal setting to promote high-end European fabrics and to share a vision centred on quality, creativity and ethics.
