In early September, Munich will once again be at the heart of the European fashion and textile industry as Munich Fabric Start stages its Autumn/Winter 26/27 edition. For the first time, Bluezone, Keyhouse and The Source will be held alongside the main show at the MOC Munich, offering a one-stop sourcing platform for designers, product managers and fashion professionals.

Around 1,200 collections from 600 international exhibitors will be presented, with a strong focus on internationality, collaboration and sustainability. Highlights include pioneering colour and material trends under the theme “Right Here Right Now”, a curated programme of edutainment sessions with industry experts, and the “Sourcing in Africa” showcase from the German Agency for International Cooperation.

Italian craftsmanship will take centre stage through the Manifattura Italia initiative, while collaborations such as an interactive upcycling project by the Sigmaringen Fashion School and a pilot with The Fabric Connector will explore new approaches to sustainable sourcing. Biotexfuture will unveil innovations in recyclable textiles, bio-based materials and wool recycling technologies.

The relocation of Bluezone and Keyhouse to Hall 2 places them at the heart of the event, with Bluezone’s Nexus concept celebrating denim heritage and cooperation, and Keyhouse’s Techknowledge theme showcasing cutting-edge sustainable technologies and circular design solutions.
