The Performance Days Autumn Fair 2025 will take place in Munich on 29–30 October, with a fully booked exhibition space, an expanded programme and a strong focus on sustainability and innovation. The event, produced by Design & Development GmbH Textile Consult, will host leading exhibitors, trend forums, and special areas dedicated to key industry themes.

Ahead of the fair, a full-day conference on 28 October, Day 0 – Rethink Waste, will address circular economy strategies under the motto In Nature, There Is No Waste. Experts from organisations including BSI, OceanSafe and Sitex will share insights into how waste can be transformed into valuable resources across the textile value chain.

This edition’s Focus Topic, Textile to Textile – The Role of Recyclers, underscores the importance of circularity, driven by new regulations such as EPR and PEFCR. The Trend Forum will present curated fabric highlights for Autumn/Winter 2027/28, with awards in five categories, including innovation, eco and bodywear.

New highlights include the Creative Area, offering an Inspiration Walk curated by trend and colour expert Nora Kühner in collaboration with partners such as Beams and Utah State University, and the Innovation Hub by Future Fabrics Expo, which will showcase early-stage sustainable material solutions.

The fair will also feature the expanded Footwear Area, focusing on sustainability and performance, with workshops and insights from footwear specialists Defne Yalkut and Richard Kuchinsky. The Wool Area returns for the third time, supported by partners including Woolmark, IWTO and the Campaign for Wool, highlighting the natural fibre’s versatility and ecological benefits.

Further dedicated spaces include the Bodywear Area, curated with London Contour Experts, the Sustainability Lounge, and the Tech Hub, which will explore digital transformation in textiles.

“Performance Days is more than just a trade fair – it is a hub for innovation, sustainability and inspiration,” said Marco Weichert, CEO of Performance Days. “With our new Focus Topic, Creative Area and Innovation Hub, we offer visitors insights into the future of the textile industry.”
