Première Vision SA, the leading international trade show for the fashion industry, and CNR Holding Inc. a leading organizer of trade shows in Turkey and manager of the CNR Expo Istanbul exhibition centre, have signed a partnership agreement for the creation and organisation, as of October 2014, of Première Vision Istanbul - a new biannual event in the Première Vision network, aimed at fashion professionals from throughout the Eastern Europe and Middle East region.

The new show will be organized by a new company created for the occasion that will be 51% controlled by Première Vision SA, and 49% by CNR Holding. The parties say that it will benefit from the strengths of both entities: the experience, reputation and legitimacy of Première Vision in terms of international textile industry players, as well as its fashion network and expertise, together with the event expertise and knowledge of the Turkish market provided by CNR Holding - which managed the TexBridge show for the past several years, which now gives way to this new project. UTIB, the Uludag Textile Exporters Association of Turkey, a Texbridge partner, will continue to provide support to the new operation.

Première Vision Istanbul, whose first edition will be held from 29 to 31 October 2014 at the CNR Expo, will remain faithful to the positioning and identity of the Première Vision shows. The event will present a creative, innovative and quality offer of textiles and materials and services selected by a committee of ad hoc industry professionals, and comprising both Turkish and international companies. Based on the Première Vision show concept, specific services and fashion information adapted to the area's markets will also be established.

Always attentive to evolutions in the textile and fashion industries, Première Vision says it is continually adapting its strategic choices to meet the needs of international markets. Present for the past two years in Istanbul through a representative office, the show organizer has been thinking for several years of establishing a more direct presence there.

“Indeed, with its overall economy projected to grow by 4% by 2016, Turkey is today one of the most dynamic emerging countries, ideally situated at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. It is also and above all an important player in the global fashion industry, thanks to a textile industry with a strong growth (16% of the Turkish industrial sector and the second leading export area), that is vertically integrated - from production of raw materials to garment manufacturing - and rich in know-how,” Premiere Vision said in a statement this morning.

Première Vision Istanbul has a dual ambition: to offer each season, in the strong and dynamic and Turkish market, a premium show maximising on the Première Vision brand, and taking advantage of the power of attraction exerted on Eastern Europe and Asia Minor by Istanbul as a regional fashion and market centre.

Because of its impact and influence on the geographic area - including Russia and the Ukraine - Première Vision Istanbul is taking over from Première Vision Moscow, whose organisation is now suspended.

The first Première Vision Istanbul rendez-vous are:

29, 30 and 31 October 2014 (autumn winter 15/16 season)

18, 19 and 20 March 2015 (spring summer 16 season)

14, 15 and 16 October 2015 (autumn winter 16/17 season)
