At Milano Unica, held at Fiera Milano (Rho) from 20–22 January 2026, Roica featured as an integral element within the collections of nine selected European textile partners. Rather than appearing as a standalone product, the premium stretch fibre by Asahi Kasei was embedded within each development, reflecting a shared focus on performance, comfort and considered material choices.

Across the show, Roica supported a wide spectrum of applications, from lingerie and beachwear to sportswear, tailoring and fashion knits. Its role was to enhance fit, elasticity and durability, while also enabling partners to address environmental responsibility through recycled, degradable and certified solutions.

Italian fabric specialist Brugnoli highlighted new cotton and micromodal developments engineered with advanced stretch performance, demonstrating how technical textile know-how can be translated into natural fibre garments. The company also expanded its offer using degradable and recycled materials, reinforcing its commitment to responsible innovation.

Circular knitting expert Eusebio made its debut as a Roica partner, presenting vibrant, high-performance fabrics for swimwear and resortwear. Designed and manufactured in Italy, the collection combined refined aesthetics with reliable stretch and colour depth, supported by responsible production practices.

Iluna Group showcased contemporary stretch laces that combined expressive design with advanced elasticity. By integrating recycled stretch fibres and traceable materials, the company continued its long-standing work in developing low-impact lace solutions without compromising visual appeal or comfort.

Innova Fabrics focused on its Residual Free line, blending technical performance with reduced environmental impact. Fabrics developed with Roica supported durability and fit while aligning with the company’s research-driven approach to more responsible textile solutions.

Inter Jersey Milano unveiled its Sensual Tech collection for Spring/Summer 2027, exploring the relationship between body and fabric through soft-touch, resilient stretch materials. Designed for applications ranging from lingerie to beachwear and sport-to-street styles, the collection demonstrated how elasticity and comfort can coexist with refined design.

Maglificio Maggia presented circular knitted fabrics combining natural fibres with advanced stretch, offering solutions for lightweight garments and structured outer layers. Produced entirely in Italy, the collection reflected the company’s dedication to craftsmanship and responsible fibre selection.

Tessitura Colombo Antonio completed the showcase with an extensive range of stretch laces for lingerie and women’s fashion. Developed with degradable stretch yarns, the collection combined intricate design with comfort and a lower environmental footprint.

Throughout Milano Unica, Roica quietly underpinned each collection, chosen by partners seeking more than functionality alone. By supporting advanced stretch, long-lasting comfort and thoughtful material innovation, the fibre continued to inspire apparel brands to create garments that move naturally with both the wearer and the times.
