Shima Seiki USA, a subsidiary of flat knitting machine builder Shima Seiki Mfg. Ltd of Japan, has confirmed details for its new New Jersey facility.

“After quite some time searching and carefully evaluating our options, we are finally ready to announce our new New Jersey office address effective starting February 1, 2022,” the company announced in its monthly newsletter.

“Although our headquarters in the US officially moved to our LA offices, we wanted to our maintain presence in the Northeast to continue servicing our customers in the East Coast,” the company said.

“This new facility will primarily be used for administrative work, machine maintenance, and training. In addition, we’ll have a large warehouse space to house machines, in order to quickly turnaround and deliver machines to our customers in a timely manner.”

“We are still finalizing the overall space and will continue to update you with any progress. At the same time, we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding while we transition and get settled in. We look forward to setting the offices up ASAP, so those interested can come visit our facilities to see the machines in action,” Shima Seiki USA.
