Pakistan saw an increase in textile and clothing exports in 2024/25, with textile production recovering after two years of decline and clothing production rising for a third consecutive year. In Sri Lanka, exports improved in 2024 and during the first eight months of 2025, driven by higher shipments to Canada, the UK and the USA, although exports to the EU fell.
