Exhibiting brands such as Speedo, Freya, Anita and Miraclesuit will use Xtra Life Lycra fibre, the main focus of Invista’s presence at the show this year, in their swimwear collections. At this edition of Moda, Invista will also be joining forces with Speedo to host a joint seminar in the Moda Retail theatre to explain the benefits of Xtra Life Lycra fibre in the new Speedo Sculpture collection.

Visitors will also be able to visit the Lycra fibre information point to see products showcased from the brands. “The show is a great opportunity for us to connect with and introduce our fibre to all the people who are important to our business and we hope to do that through our event signage and show guide information,” said Michelle Duncan.

As well as addressing common problems in swimwear quality, such as thinning material and shape loss, one key area, where Xtra Life Lycra fibre makes a difference to performance is in combatting the effects of chlorine. According to Invista, it resists chlorine longer than unprotected elastane, allowing garments to keep their shape.
