Karl Mayer will participate in a high-level German textile machinery delegation travelling to Egypt later this month, as part of a programme designed to strengthen cooperation and open new opportunities with Egyptian manufacturers.
Eighteen leading German textile machinery companies will take part in business meetings on 22 September in Cairo and 24 September in Alexandria. The programme includes symposia, B2B networking sessions and visits to multi-stage textile manufacturers.
It’s important that we discuss the whole Karl Mayer story and what we bring to the customer
The initiative is organised by SBS Systems for Business Solutions and the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Egypt, in close cooperation with VDMA, whose member companies are providing the delegation participants.
As a leading manufacturer of warp knitting machines and warp preparation equipment, Karl Mayer will use the trip to highlight its role as a partner that goes beyond machinery supply.
“Our presentation and discussions are not just about the machine and the products that can be achieved, but the all-round package we can bring – from after-sales care solutions to customer support, training, and help with development,” explained Adam Stevenson, sales representative at Karl Mayer. “It’s important that we discuss the whole Karl Mayer story and what we bring to the customer.”
Egypt is emerging as a promising market, with many Chinese and Turkish companies relocating or opening new production facilities in the country. With high demand and an atmosphere of optimism, Karl Mayer sees Egypt as a strategic hub for future growth, particularly in the knitting sector.
