The 25th Annual Textile & Apparel Importer Trade & Transportation Conference will take place on 6 November in New York City.

The United States Association of Importers of Textiles and Apparel (USA-ITA) and the American Import Shippers Association (AISA) have announced that Dora Murphy, Director of the US Customs and Border Protection Center of Excellence and Expertise (CEE) for Apparel, Footwear, and Textiles, will provide a keynote speech at the event.

The ”‹conference ”‹will also ”‹feature ”‹discussions ”‹with ”‹Administration ”‹officials ”‹and ”‹industry ”‹experts ”‹on ”‹customs, ”‹supply ”‹chain ”‹logistics, ”‹transportation, ”‹sourcing ”‹and ”‹other ”‹key ”‹issues ”‹affecting ”‹the ”‹fashion ”‹industry. ”‹The ”‹conference ”‹will ”‹also ”‹feature ”‹exhibits ”‹of ”‹companies ”‹and ”‹organisations ”‹across ”‹the ”‹supply ”‹chain. ”‹

The United States Association of Importers of Textiles and Apparel (USA-ITA) was established in January 1989 by nine companies with a vision to create a unified voice for textile and apparel importers across the country.

USA-ITA provides education, information, and advocacy to executives active in textile and apparel sourcing, importing, compliance, and logistics.
