The 57th edition of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris, held from 15 to 17 September 2025 at the Parc des Expositions Paris-Le Bourget, confirmed the event’s standing as a central platform for the textile and apparel industry. More than 7000 visitors attended, engaging with 1300 exhibitors from over 35 countries. Attendance was up by 25% compared to July 2024, validating the move to September to better meet the evolving needs of international fashion brands.
Buyers benefited from an enhanced visitor experience, with three halls divided between products and services, improved networking spaces, and dedicated trend forums. Exhibitors reflected a balance between textiles at Texworld Paris and finished products at Apparel Sourcing Paris, a change driven by demand for turnkey solutions that can deliver both creativity and production efficiency.
The show also served as a key meeting point for international players seeking a stronger foothold in Europe, considered a stable growth market. Among them was Wing Ka Shing of Hong Kong, specialising in knitted sweaters, which participated in Paris for the first time to build connections with European brands. Meanwhile, the Near Sourcing Hub, supported by FourSource, highlighted local and regional suppliers from Portugal, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Mediterranean, answering demand for speed, quality and reliability.
Innovation featured strongly through Avantex Paris, where thirty participants showcased sustainable and technological solutions. The Avantex Fashion Pitch awarded GoldenEye Smart Vision for its AI-based quality control system, while Green Worms of India received special recognition for its recycling and social impact initiatives. Conference sessions explored themes such as artificial intelligence, circularity, new materials and evolving consumer models.
Craftsmanship and creativity were also in focus, with live demonstrations from Pasari Textiles of India, Turkish designers through the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, and knitwear created by students from LISAA Mode. Chinese expertise was represented by the China Textile Innovation Centre. For the first time, TikTok Shop hosted live shopping sessions from the show floor, offering exhibitors new opportunities to engage with digital consumers.
Messe Frankfurt France President Frédéric Bougeard praised the show’s strong performance, highlighting its ability to adapt and broaden opportunities for exhibitors and buyers. The next edition of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris will take place from 2 to 4 February 2026 at Le Bourget.
