15 May 2008, Ikast, Denmark - The new tubular limbsize spacer fabric from TYTEX GROUP is based on a patented onward development of AirXâ„¢ spacer fabric technology. Offering a wide range of flexible improvement options for products such as orthopaedic supports, braces, casts and prosthetic liners, the spacer fabric provides enhanced comfort, breathability and moisture resistance.

The limbsize spacer fabric has been designed specifically with patient comfort in mind. It is low profile, functional, lightweight and aesthetically pleasing with improved elasticity, cushioning and recovery, as well as substantial isotropic properties.

With its small diameter, three-dimensional weft knit, the new limbsize spacer fabric accommodates and conforms to body parts or limbs, encircling them seamlessly.

Technically engineered to enhance the end-product, the limbsize spacer fabric also enables the incorporation of many different mechanical and thermo-physiological properties, resulting in superior breathability and moisture-resistance.
