Warp knitting machine builder Karl Mayer has released a video on ‘Making a lace fashion body’, a walk through on making a lace garment from programming its ML41 Multibar raschel machine to final garment. The video highlights making cost savings from reducing waste and seams.

The ML series offers flexible machines with a different number of guide bars, designed to cater for specific requirements for producing narrow to medium-width lace bands and flat fabrics. Applications for the ML41 are intimate apparel, lingerie and outerwear.

Making a lace fashion body – Accompany our textile developer colleague Daniela Breuer throughout the whole design and production process, Karl Mayer said in a social media post. The design captivates with a seamless transitions from opaque to transparent areas for more comfort and less sewing time. In addition, it is suitable for more than just one occasion.
