Interfilière, the international trade fair for intimates and beachwear fabrics, has announced the theme for its Paris edition that will take place next month. In partnership with the Fédération de la Maille & de la Lingerie, Interfilière Paris is showcasing exhibitors’ techniques and know-how through the prism of wellbeing – comfort and wellbeing, body-care and protection, softness, beauty and seduction.

With the entire collection featuring Xtra Life Lycra fibre, the swimwear will be able to stand the test of time against degradation from chlorine, sunscreen, oils, perspiration or heat, according to Invista. Xtra Life Lycra is also said to resist fibre breakage five times longer than other chlorine-resistant elastane.

The annual Knitwear Fashion Show at the Mira Hong Kong showcased 20 collections of four outfits from 20 graduating students of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU)'s Institute of Textiles and Clothing (ITC) majoring in knitwear design last week.
