Tilsatec will be at Safety & Health Expo 2008, exhibiting the Rhino™ range of high performance hand & arm protection and the Rhino™ workwear range of inherently FR clothing.

Debuting at the show will be the Flex 5™ range of lightweight, cut level 5 gloves. Specially developed for light assembly and general handling, they have applications in industries such as automotive, white goods, steel and glass.

The lightweight liner has a seamless knit structure, utilising Tilsatec’s Queen’s Award-winning yarn technology. Providing cut level 5 protection (EN388) across the range, it offers superb value and performance coupled with superior comfort and dexterity. Within the range the Flex 5N has a unique Nitrithane™ coating, delivering excellent dry grip and oil grip. The black coloured coating reduces product rejection due to spoiling, whilst the liner offers excellent levels of comfort and fit.

Safety & Health Expo will also be the platform for some of the latest developments from Tilsatec in the leather range. The Triton™ medium weight leather palmed glove, offers maximum cut protection with a high level of puncture resistance. Ideal for wet or dry handling of glass, it provides excellent water resistance whilst maintaining a superb grip.

Extending the capabilities of the Rhino leather range, the Caldera™ leather palmed glove provides an additional level of protection. A fire retardant fabric to the back of the hand, developed for the Rhino™ workwear range, provides added heat protection for applications in the automotive industry, where weld spatter is present.

Complementing the range, the Kaskara™ split leather gauntlet is designed with a cut level 5 liner, an extended cuff for added protection and a reinforced thumb crotch to ensure strength, durability and protection without compromising comfort and dexterity.

The full range from Tilsatec will be on display at the Safety & Health Expo, stand L61, hall 10.

Wakefield based Tilsatec are established in the provision of technical yarns and fabrics for PPE.
