Leading Italian socks knitting machine manufacturer Busi Giovanni is increasing its cooperation and joining new projects with leading educational establishments and universities worldwide.

But this is nothing new for the Botticino (Brescia based family-owned company. Last spring, Busi participated in a new industrial project in distant Mongolia, along with PISIE (Politecnico Internazionale per lo Sviluppo Industriale ed Economico, Italy), in the Italy-Mongolia Textile Technology Training Center.

Commenting on the Mongolian project, Paola Claudia Baldracchi, Commercial & Marketing Director at Busi, said: “That project has recently become definitely real as one sock-knitting machine, Busi Basic of our Gold Line was installed in the Mongolian centre end of February,”

The Mongolian students will be then using and running a machine that is very user-friendly, but truly representative of overall Busi machinery, simple and reliable, and can make true rib socks.”

“That Busi Basic machine – as any model among our 12 ones - may be equipped with Rimaglio, our automatic toe-linking unit.”

“Actually, the Busi family’s mission and strong concern is to transmit their own deep passion, and get the young to know the complex technology of Busi machines, as well as transfer incentive motivation for deep attention to the highest quality of the finished items, i.e. socks, made with top quality yarns from top suppliers,” Paola Claudia Baldracchi added.
