Creora by Hyosung, presented three key textile directions for intimates and underwear, Organic Appeal, Pure Embrace and Treasured for 2011 during Paris Mode City this weekend.

Organic Appeal reflects the continuing pursuit of sustainability and responsibility towards the environment through the entire textile chain and the influence on intimate apparel. Fabric structures range from compact and smooth through to organically inspired textures but overall the fabric delivery is soft and pleasurable to wear.

Organic Appeal highlights the creora eco collection, with H-550 low heat settable elastane reducing energy and offering improved moulding and whiter whites, creora black H-100D for intense dark tones, reduced grin-through and reduced water and waste in the dye process. Creora lite fine denier elastane for ultra light featherweight fabrics and micro mesh.  Mipan regen recycled nylon yarns with performance, regen recycled polyester, creora eco blend with natural fibres, cotton, organic cotton, pima cotton, silk and sustainable fibres, bamboo, milk, wood, Micro Modal.

Pure Embrace, smooth, compact surfaces embrace for body sculpting shapewear in white-based groupings, cosmetic tones and black to androgynous greys. Compact 4-way stretch fabrics are laser cut and left clean for the sew-free technology sector with clean finishes through laser cutting and thermo bonding. Sculpting shapes emerge in contrasting diaphanous qualities with integrated power zones to give extra shape and support.

Creora eco H-550 for whiter whites and reduced curling, plus creora performance H-350 for engineered power and high compression in shapewear, creora black H-100D for grainy surface effects, greys and black. Creora lite fine denier for diaphanous featherweight fabrics that are packed with power. Mipan regen, Mipan aerocool and askin add performance and permanent moisture management benefits to creora eco elastane collection.

Garment focus: Men’s & women’s basic shape & activewear and seamless sleepwear

Treasured yearns towards happier times with traditional applications that re-emerge with a new modern twist and a discreet glamorous angle using modern day micro fibres. Classic silk and fine cotton qualities infiltrate, and mouldable lace becomes an option. Surface relief is bold and opulent; there is richness to this trend, which has fluidity and luxury with subtle effects.

Creora eco H-550 low heat settable elastane works alongside regen recycled polyester, MicroModal, bamboo, or organic cotton. creora black H-100D for shining intense black qualities or teamed with vibrant colours for an innovative effects especially through compact ribs and jacquards, creora lite fine denier elastane for barely-there sensual fabrics with invisible power and support. Noble fibres, silk through to cashmere and long staple pima cotton add luxury. Subtle shine with Mipan duo in tone-on-tone effects or for a changeant finish.
