Groz-Beckert relaunched its website (www.groz-beckert.com ) on 1st May with a new fresh design and expanded content and functionality.

Alongside interesting facts about the company, its products and services, the Technology and Development Center (TEZ) and the Academy, the site has a special focus on the Latest News and Careers sections and there is a lot to see and discover.

Groz-Beckert says that after more than ten years, the company's website was starting to show its age. And no wonder – just like the textile industry, information technology and communication are witnessing a continuous stream of new developments, it adds. And so for all of its international customers, partners, employees, potential customers and all other interested parties, Groz-Beckert decided to bring its web presence up to date.

Commenting on the importance of its new website, the company said in a statement:

“In view of the increasing number of people using the Internet, the importance of having a web presence is clear. According to a recent study by online specialist Pingdom, in June 2012 there were an amazing 2.4 billion active Internet users worldwide. Back in the year 2000 the number was still comparatively low, at 360 million. In 2012, the world's leading Internet nation, with more than 530 million users, was China.”

In addition to the versions in English and German, the new website is also available in Chinese. There are more than 200 pages of content, with information about the company and its products in different levels of detail – from brief overviews to detailed technical and scientific information.

“A creative and visually appealing leitmotif for the new design is provided by images from the latest Groz-Beckert advertising campaign, enhancing the visuals throughout. Textile surfaces and elements here become integral components of natural landscapes and situations. After all, textiles are inextricably linked with many areas of life and industry,” Groz-Beckert said.

“In the Careers section, the website certainly delivers diversity. Groz-Beckert presents itself as a futureproof employer and provides comprehensive information about careers for school and university students, graduates and the professionally experienced,” the company added.
