Interfilière: Surprise, inspire, stimulate, imagine

“Interfilière's reputation is beyond doubt,” says the show’s organiser Eurovet. “The trade show, a powerful ally for designers, collection managers, buyers, trend agencies and the intimates and beachwear industry, will bring them all together in Paris, the fashion capital on 19, 20 and 21 January 2013.”

Interfilière will reach a new level of excellence in 2013. For its 28th year, the globally known and respected brand will coordinate its communication strategy with a new campaign developed for the trade show's four seasons: Paris in January and July, March in Hong Kong, and Shanghai in October.

“The campaign's couture references evoke the intimate, sophisticated and modern world of intimates and beachwear fabrics,” says Eurovet.

Interfilière Paris, the first show of the year, will open its doors in January with the themes of sensuality, authenticity, savoir faire and innovation. And these key ideas will run throughout the three days of the trade show, bringing energy and inspiration to the stands and the events and conference areas.

Spotlight on lace

Interfilière Paris says it believes in promoting expertise and authentic products, no matter where they're found. “Lace's rich creative potential has always been a source of inspiration in many cultures. It is inter-generational, inter-cultural and timeless,” the show’s organisers say.

“It's undeniable ”’ lace, a constant reference at Interfilière Paris, is now making headlines. Widespread interest means that lace is seen everywhere and produced in every material, even the most improbable. Lace shows up in fashion, where outer and underwear play hide and seek, but also in interior design and fine art. Lace has even taken to the streets, leaving its mark on ultra-modern buildings. With a look to the past and a focus on the future, Interfilière Paris will give visitors a fresh vision of tomorrow's lace.”

An international offer

For the January 2013 session, Interfilière Paris will bring together 150 exhibitors from 25 countries.

Organized into seven different sectors (Access'Folies, Brod'Cust, Creative Lab, Hi'Tech, Lace it, Neoskin, and Intimates and Beachwear by fatex), the trade show aims to present a complete offer to meet the intimates and beachwear industries' every need.

From fibres to fabrics, laces to embroideries, and findings to accessories, the trade show is a genuine showcase for exceptional materials. It's also a springboard for innovation by supporting research and development, and promoting the latest techniques and trends for Summer 2014.

Quality visitor profiles

According to Eurovet, visitors to Interfilière Paris are influential professionals and part of the trade show's strength and uniqueness. “By coordinating with the Salon International de la Lingerie, Interfilière is the only event of international scope that brings together upstream and downstream markets,” the organisation boasts.

Fashion, trends and creativity

The General Forum

Interfilière Paris is known for the forecasting and research presented in the General Forum. Under the artistic direction of Jos Berry, Director of the Concepts Paris trends agency, trends presentations and prototypes will inspire buyers with new ideas for the intimates and beachwear markets. For Summer 2014 visitors can expect surprises from the Forum and "The Evolution Guide" ”’ both in the materials chosen and their presentation.

Designer of the Year

Every year "Paris Capital de la Création" honours the energy and creativity of an exhibitor with the "Designer of the Year" award. New at Interfilière Paris 2013: two designers will be named, one each from the intimates and beachwear sectors.

This January, the intimates winner is the Italian group Iluna.

Since its beginning in 1975, Iluna has created pre-moulded bra cups. With a succession of business acquisitions, the small family business has now become a prosperous group. Iluna uses state of the art expertise with the latest electronic machines for a wide range of products: pre-moulded bra cups, lace for pre-moulding, laces and elastics in several widths, elastic bands for corsetry, fabrics for stockings and tights in semi-worked lace, stretch Jacquardtronic lace, and siliconed Raschel and Jacquard fabrics in several widths.
