Christian Botschek has joined the Management Board of Karl Mayer Stoll Textilmaschinenfabrik GmbH, working alongside Axel Wintermeyer from 1 July. Botschek, a mechanical engineer, has been part of Karl Mayer since 2005, making significant contributions across logistics, assembly and international operations.

Over the years, he has steadily expanded his responsibilities, playing a key role in improving global profitability through process optimisation and customer-focused improvements. He managed assembly and logistics at the company’s Obertshausen headquarters for three years before moving to China, and as Chief of Technology he contributed to the development and expansion of the Changzhou site.

In 2023, Botschek became Deputy Managing Director of Karl Mayer China while also serving as Managing Director of Karl Mayer Technische Textilien GmbH. His new role on the Management Board of Karl Mayer Stoll Textilmaschinenfabrik places him in charge of assembly, production and prototype construction, with a strong focus on sustainability and efficiency.

“I want to help make processes more efficient, reduce waste, and sustainably strengthen our performance in production. Our ambition is to work economically successfully – with consistently high customer satisfaction,” said Botschek.

Karl Mayer says its customers will continue to benefit from high quality and absolute deadline reliability under the strengthened leadership team.
