Cotton’s global demand remains strong due to its softness, versatility, and desirable qualities, ranking among the top sourcing interests at previous Yarn Expo editions. From 2–4 September, Yarn Expo Autumn 2025 will again feature the Cotton Textile Export Promotion Council’s India Pavilion, with nearly 20 members presenting alongside cotton exhibitors from Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Pakistan, and other countries.

The global cotton market is projected to reach USD 55.57 billion by 2033, with India and China as leading producers supported by favourable government policies. Returning to Shanghai, the India Pavilion’s exhibitors will offer a diverse range, including pure cotton carding, pure cotton combing/compact spinning, viscose, blended yarn, synthetic yarn, recycled, organic and BCI yarn, Spandex yarn, and polyester cotton.

Notable participants include Excel Enterprise, a leading Punjab-based supplier of high-quality Shankar-6 cotton under the Excel brand, with strong links to major global markets. Shreedhar Cotsyn Private Limited will also feature, offering 100% cotton, 100% polyester, and various cotton blends in raw white, melange, and dyed options.

In the Pakistan Zone, Ihsan Cotton Products (Pvt) Ltd will make its debut, showcasing ecru and coloured yarns, home cleaning products, twine, blankets, and sports socks. Hengfeng (Hong Kong) Co Ltd, with operations in Hong Kong, Vietnam, and mainland China, will present its portfolio of cotton, cotton yarn, chemical fibres, and supply chain services. Other exhibitors include PT Dan Liris from Indonesia, Rutex GmbH from Germany, and Square Textiles PLC from Bangladesh.

Held alongside Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, CHIC, and PH Value, Yarn Expo Autumn 2025 will unite the yarn and fibre, apparel fabrics, fashion, and knitwear sectors. The show will also overlap with Cinte Techtextil China from 3–5 September, expanding opportunities for business and networking across technical textiles and nonwovens.
