Nearly 580 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions will present a diverse selection of yarns and fibres when Yarn Expo Autumn opens this week from 2-4 September 2025 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.
Spanning 27,000 sqm in Hall 8.2, this year’s fair features seven key product zones – International Yarn, Cotton Yarn, Chemical Fibre, Fancy Yarn, Linen Yarn, Silk Yarn, and Wool Yarn. New highlights include the debut Taiwan Zone, alongside the returning India Pavilion and Pakistan Zone.
Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, commented: “Yarn Expo Autumn 2025 is our most comprehensive edition yet. The fair consistently proves to be one of the most vital sourcing hubs for thousands of buyers, while serving as a key platform for suppliers to enter the Asian and Chinese markets.”
The show will host leading exhibitors such as Fujian Eversun Jinjiang Co Ltd, Huafon Chemical Co Ltd, Suzhou Jingyi Textile Import and Export Co Ltd, Fortune Tech Co Ltd, Hubei Jinghua Textile Group Co Ltd, and Dashiqiao Silk Spinning Factory, among many others. Buyers can expect sourcing opportunities across synthetic fibres, cotton yarns, fancy yarns, linen, silk, wool, and sustainable innovations.
International participation remains strong, with standalone exhibitors from Türkiye, Germany, Egypt, and the Netherlands. Organised showcases include nearly 20 Indian suppliers under TEXPROCIL, Pakistan’s Abtex International (Pvt) Ltd and other cotton and blended yarn producers, and Taiwan Spinners’ Association members presenting open-end yarns.
Alongside product sourcing, fringe events will spotlight industry developments. The Tongkun China Fibre Fashion Trends Display Zone will showcase over 300 fibre samples, while the Textile Materials Innovation Forum will address intelligent textiles and fibre development. Eleven product launches are also scheduled.
Held concurrently with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, CHIC, PH Value, and coinciding with Cinte Techtextil China, the fair will connect the fibre, yarn, apparel, fashion, and technical textiles industries in one of the world’s leading sourcing hubs.
