On 29–30 October 2025, Performance Days will introduce the Creative Area, a new curated experience space featuring the Inspiration Walk. This immersive path will present innovative design ideas, material contrasts and colour concepts, staged by trend and colour expert Nora Kühner in collaboration with international partners.
The Inspiration Walk will guide visitors through diverse thematic worlds, showcasing artistic installations alongside previews of the 2027 colour palette and early trends for Autumn/Winter 2027/28. Selected innovative materials, chosen by Kühner and the Performance Days team, will highlight the fusion of function, aesthetics and innovation.
Partnerships with Beams and Utah State University will bring heritage outdoor models, archival materials and historical context to the event, creating a bridge between past and future. Beams, founded in Tokyo in 1976, will contribute designs reflecting its distinctive blend of Japanese aesthetics and global trends.
A striking design element will be the juxtaposition of voluminous outerwear and close-fitting bodywear, offering new silhouettes and creative possibilities. Sustainability will also take centre stage through the reuse and upcycling of vintage sports and outdoor garments, alongside experimental works from fashion and design students.
“The Creative Area is a space for new perspectives,” said Kühner. “Historical models meet modern approaches, showing how past and future can creatively connect.”
