The Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant label has officially launched its Fashion and Beauty Excellence Network at Première Vision Paris, reinforcing the central role of craftsmanship within the creative industries and underlining Paris’s status as a global fashion capital.
Unveiled during the plenary meeting of the Strategic Committee for the Fashion and Luxury Industry, the new network brings together 238 EPV-labelled companies operating across fashion and beauty. Representing nearly one fifth of all EPV-certified businesses, the members range from haute couture houses to specialist workshops in embroidery, leather goods, jewellery, footwear, cosmetics and perfumery.
By uniting these companies under a shared platform, the initiative aims to strengthen collaboration across the French fashion and luxury ecosystem. At its core is a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, rooted in local territories and combining artisanal heritage with innovation.
The Fashion and Beauty Excellence Network focuses on three main objectives: raising the profile of EPV companies among international fashion and luxury brands, supporting members through training and guidance on issues such as sustainability, artificial intelligence and skills transmission, and enhancing visibility through events, fashion weeks and major international trade shows.
According to Réseau Excellence president Tristan De Witte, the network is designed to open doors and build bridges between holders of rare expertise and key decision-makers in the sector, while extending the international reach of France’s living heritage.
Première Vision Paris, by hosting the launch, reaffirmed its long-standing support for manufacturers and designers. For the second year running, the show also hosted the plenary session of the Strategic Committee for the Fashion and Luxury Industry, which brings together public authorities and trade organisations to strengthen the competitiveness of a sector that supports more than 600,000 jobs in France.
As a strategic partner to the textile ecosystem, Première Vision continues to act as a catalyst for collective initiatives. Each Paris edition hosts close to 1,000 exhibitors and features dedicated showcases celebrating craftsmanship. The event also plays a wider role in fostering dialogue, partnerships and long-term projects across the fashion value chain.
With the launch of the Fashion and Beauty Excellence Network, Première Vision Paris further positions itself as a key meeting point for the industry, championing craftsmanship as a common denominator for creativity, innovation and sustainable growth.
