Lenzing AG has announced significant changes to its leadership structure following the decision by Chief Executive Officer Rohit Aggarwal to step down for personal reasons, effective 31 January 2026. Aggarwal, who has served as Managing Board Member and CEO, will remain with the company as an advisor until the end of September 2026 to ensure a smooth transition. The Supervisory Board expressed its gratitude for his contributions, citing progress in strategic focus, profitability, and execution of the company’s performance programme.

After Aggarwal’s departure, Lenzing will be led by a three-member Managing Board. As part of its ongoing organisational development and refined premiumisation strategy, the company will also introduce a six-member Executive Committee. This new body will comprise the Managing Board alongside senior commercial managers Patricia Sargeant (Nonwovens Fibres), Yann Lepage (Textile Fibres), and Anton Putz (Pulp). The committee is intended to strengthen Lenzing’s commercial focus on high-performance fibre segments and reinforce its position as a leading integrated supplier of regenerated cellulosic fibres.

The Supervisory Board has initiated the process to appoint a new CEO, with an announcement to follow in due course. Patrick Lackenbucher, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, emphasised the company’s ongoing commitment to structural profitability and long-term value creation, noting that the Managing Board will continue efforts to enhance competitiveness, financial performance, and Lenzing’s standing in sustainable fibre markets.

Based on current business performance and market trends, the Managing Board has confirmed its EBITDA guidance for 2025 and expects year-on-year growth.
