Intertextile Shenzhen, a key event in South China’s textile and apparel calendar, is preparing to showcase a broad spectrum of global fashion trends and cutting-edge fabric innovations from 11–13 June 2025 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Among its highlights this year are two brand new zones – The Closet and Fashion Gallery – introduced to nurture creativity and drive textile advancement in the region.

The Closet will serve as a launchpad for emerging designers and fashion innovators. This creative zone offers a unique platform for fashion professionals to present progressive ideas, while encouraging sustainable approaches. Among its participants are the Sustainable Fashion and Apparel Association (SFAA), which promotes eco-conscious practices in Hong Kong’s fashion industry, and Mint Studio, a networking initiative from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, showcasing garments by five promising Hong Kong designers. The Hong Kong Fur Federation will also participate, advocating for sustainable and ethical use of fur as a biodegradable material.

Fashion Gallery will deliver a comprehensive display of modern apparel segments, including ladieswear, casualwear, lingerie, and sportswear. Tech-integrated textiles and forward-looking design solutions will feature prominently. Key exhibitors include AiDLab, which will present AiDA, an AI-based design tool, and WiseEye, an automated textile inspection system. The Nano and Advanced Materials Institute (NAMI) will spotlight its bioengineered sustainable dye, which offers a viable green alternative to conventional textile dyeing.

The fair’s well-established Japan and Korea Pavilions will return to spotlight regional strengths. The Japan Pavilion will offer ladieswear fabrics such as cotton, functional textiles, jacquard, and digital printing, while the Korea Pavilion will showcase trend-forward man-made fabrics, lace, and high-performance materials for casual and functional wear.

Organised alongside Yarn Expo Shenzhen, BIRD Fashion Fair and PH Value, Intertextile Shenzhen continues to be a vital meeting point for buyers and suppliers, enabling innovation through seminars, forums, and business connections.

The event is jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, Messe Frankfurt (Shenzhen) Co Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, and the China Textile Information Center.
