Next week’s Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Shenzhen, running from 11–13 June 2025 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian), will spotlight sustainable and innovative textile solutions across the fashion industry. Held concurrently with PH Value and BIRD Fashion Fair, the events will serve as a hub for global suppliers and buyers, showcasing a broad range of fabrics, yarns, and garments.
The fairs’ fringe programme will emphasise environmental responsibility and technology-driven innovation, with over 30 seminar sessions across 15 forums, including the Intertextile Forum. This year’s theme, “Supply Chain Restructuring: Digital Intelligence-Driven Resilient Breakthrough,” reflects the industry’s need to adapt amid global economic shifts and policy changes.
Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, said: “Intertextile Shenzhen and Yarn Expo Shenzhen are designed to inspire actionable change. We’re aiming to promote collaboration and facilitate industry transformation towards more sustainable practices.”
Two debut zones, Fashion Gallery and The Closet, will enhance the experience. Fashion Gallery features ladieswear, functional wear, lingerie, and high-tech fabrics, while The Closet provides a creative platform for emerging designers. Key participants include AiDLab, the Nano and Advanced Materials Institute, and the Sustainable Fashion and Apparel Association (SFAA), with a particular focus on green fashion. The Hong Kong Fur Federation will present sustainable fur designs, and Mint Studio will spotlight young design talent.
Additional highlights include:
- Textiles Forecast S/S 2026 by WGSN, offering macro trend insights
- Livvium’s session on digital fashion and immersive retail innovation
- The Digital Application Trend Forum, examining AI and sustainable digitalisation
- Intertek’s Econogy Talks, discussing the EU’s Ecodesign Directive and textile sustainability
Meanwhile, Yarn Expo Shenzhen in Hall 1 will showcase sustainable yarn and fibre solutions, catering to the Asia-Pacific market. Exhibitors such as Consinee Group and Perino by Woolyarns will lead the charge with high-end natural and blended yarns. Consinee brings ultra-fine cashmere, while Perino blends New Zealand Brushtail Possum fibre with merino and cashmere for lighter, luxurious alternatives.
Exhibitors from 14 countries and regions, including China, Germany, France, Korea, Vietnam, and Japan, will present a wide range of textile solutions covering womenswear, menswear, denim, sportswear, and intimate apparel. A highlight of Yarn Expo is the return of the New Fibre New World – Textile Materials Innovation Forum and the Tongkun – China Fibre Fashion Trends Display Zone.
Together, Intertextile Shenzhen and Yarn Expo Shenzhen represent a vital meeting point for fashion professionals committed to sustainable and innovative advancement. Visitors are encouraged to pre-register to avoid queues and ensure swift access to the venue.
