Crystal International Group Limited has released its sixteenth Sustainability Report, detailing significant progress made in 2024 across environmental, social, and community pillars. The publication charts the company’s continued advancement toward its Crystal Sustainability Vision 2030 (CSV2030), underpinned by innovation in smart manufacturing and a renewed focus on stakeholder impact.

The 2024 report complies with the Environmental, Social and Governance disclosure requirements set by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is informed by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards. Notably, this edition is the first to incorporate a double materiality approach, assessing sustainability from both financial and societal perspectives in alignment with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards.

Visual elements of the report reinforce its messaging. Three animated figures on the cover represent the Group’s commitment to Regenerating Nature, Resourcing People, and Revitalising Community. Dynamic graphics signal the Group’s optimism and drive for transformation.

Crystal’s progress in 2024 includes the validation of its net zero emissions target by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), the introduction of a new goal to plant two million trees by 2030, and the elimination of coal-fired units in all wholly-owned factories. Three facilities also achieved zero operational waste to landfill.

On the social front, the company has empowered over 70,000 women through its CARE programme since 2016, reinforcing its dedication to people development.

With eight impact areas guiding CSV2030, all of which are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Crystal International continues to build a future that integrates sustainability with business growth.
