Mayer & Cie. will present a range of innovations at ITMA Asia, taking place from 28–31 October 2025 in Singapore. The German manufacturer of circular knitting and braiding machines will exhibit in Hall 5, Stand D 301, highlighting its latest developments in jacquard, performance and digital solutions.

A key exhibit will be the OVJA 2.4 EC II, a circular knitting machine for jacquard fabrics. Featuring a new single needle selection system, the machine reduces cylinder height and requires fewer knitting elements, lowering energy consumption. Designed for sportswear, leisurewear and home textiles, it offers customers in China and South East Asia a competitive solution at an attractive price.

Mayer & Cie. will also present its Performance Line, a series of highly efficient circular knitting machines. Among these, the D4 4.4 HPI delivers up to 600 kilograms of interlock fabrics daily, while the OV 3.2 QCe produces up to 650 kilograms of rib structures. In the single jersey sector, the Relanit 4.0 achieves outputs of 1,700 kilograms per day, with the Relanit 3.2 HS II offering expertise in elastomeric plating.

Digital solutions will also take centre stage, including the Control 5.0 machine control system, which enables internet connectivity and supports the company’s knitlink digital platform. Another highlight is knithawk, a defect detection system that uses infrared scanning to identify and prevent knitting errors, helping reduce material and energy waste.

This year also marks Mayer & Cie.’s 120th anniversary. While proud of its heritage of innovation and reliability, the company acknowledges the challenges posed by global economic uncertainty. Managing Director Benjamin Mayer stressed the importance of resilience and innovation as the company looks ahead.
