A. Monforts Textilmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG has announced a change in its senior management, effective from January 1, 2026. Volker Gingter has been appointed Managing Director of the Mönchengladbach-based dyeing and finishing technology specialist.

He succeeds Gunnar Meyer, who stepped down from the role on December 31, 2025. Meyer will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity until his retirement in July 2026.

Commenting on the transition, marketing manager Nicole Croonenbroek thanked Meyer for his long-standing commitment to the business and his efforts in maintaining Monforts’ competitiveness and global market leadership.

Gingter began his career as an electrician in 1997 at Sucker-Müller-Hacoba and joined Monforts in 2000 as an in-house commissioning engineer. From 2010 to 2013 he worked on the development of a new European warehouse for Esprit, before returning to Monforts as engineering service manager. He was appointed head of the service department in 2020 and assumed responsibility for the spare parts department in 2025.

Looking ahead, Gingter said he is prepared to guide the company through challenging global market conditions and highlighted the importance of close customer relationships. He is looking forward to meeting customers and partners from around the world at the Techtextil 2026 exhibition in Frankfurt.

Founded in 1884, Monforts is a leading supplier of textile dyeing and finishing machinery and coating systems. The company is recognised as a market leader in stenters, continuous dyeing ranges, sanforising ranges and specialised solutions for denim and technical textiles.

Monforts operates an Advanced Technology Center in Mönchengladbach, where customers can carry out fabric trials under real production conditions, and has maintained its production site in St. Stefan, Austria, for more than 40 years. The company is a member of the CHTC Fong’s Group.
