ACIMIT, the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers, will participate for the first time with an institutional booth at Milano Unica, the prestigious international trade fair for high-end fabrics and accessories. The event is scheduled to take place at Rho Fiera Milano from 8 to 10 July 2025.

With this initiative, ACIMIT aims to build stronger ties between its member companies, international buyers, and textile producers attending the fair. The association also seeks to raise awareness about the innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation that characterise Italy’s textile machinery industry.

ACIMIT President Marco Salvadè commented: “I believe it is essential for our Association to be present at such a significant trade event. The synergy between Italian excellence in textiles and textile machinery has always been, and continues to be, a key factor in strengthening the leadership of the entire Italian textile supply chain.”

The presence of ACIMIT at Milano Unica highlights the association’s commitment to promoting environmentally responsible technologies and advancing circular economy practices. These priorities reflect a broader strategic direction within the Italian textile machinery sector, which continues to pioneer advanced solutions for the evolving needs of global textile production.

The Italian textile machinery industry is composed of approximately 300 manufacturers, employing around 12,500 people. Together, they generate a production value of around €2.1 billion annually, with 86% of this total exported. The sector is globally recognised for its creativity, sustainable innovation, reliability and high manufacturing quality.

ACIMIT’s participation in Milano Unica represents a key opportunity to showcase these strengths on a global stage and reinforce Italy’s reputation as a technological leader in textile manufacturing.
