Six months ahead of its opening, Techtextil 2026 is already seeing encouraging global participation, with companies from 49 countries confirmed to exhibit. The event, taking place from 21–24 April 2026 in Frankfurt, is poised to once again serve as a leading hub for business, innovation and collaboration across the technical textiles sector.

The organisers report that both long-standing exhibitors and new participants are embracing the opportunity to address current industry challenges and showcase future-ready solutions. More than 120 new exhibitors will join the line-up, including Dystar (Singapore), Grasim Industries (India), Indorama Ventures Fibers Germany, Monteiro Ribas (Portugal) and The Lycra Company (Switzerland). Strong national pavilions from Belgium, China, France, Italy, Korea, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, Taiwan, the Czech Republic and Türkiye will further strengthen the international mix.

Reflecting growing industry diversification, Techtextil 2026 introduces Textile Chemicals & Dyes as a new, standalone product segment. Around 30 exhibitors will occupy Hall 9.0, establishing a central meeting point for suppliers and users within close proximity to the Performance Apparel Textiles and Fibres and Yarns segments. The new layout is designed to promote efficient networking and easy access to emerging technologies.

Visitors can expect a wealth of innovation across key focus areas including functional natural materials, performance textiles, circularity and artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, the Techtextil Innovation Award 2026 invites entries from companies seeking international recognition for their pioneering developments, with applications open until 15 December 2025.

The Techtextil Forum 2026 will also return as a platform for open dialogue and knowledge exchange, covering topics from smart fabrics and AI-driven trend forecasting to generative design. Experts and innovators from around the world are invited to share their insights and engage with a global professional audience.

Running in parallel with Techtextil will be Texprocess, the leading international platform for textile and apparel processing technologies, offering visitors a comprehensive view of the textile value chain.
