Vietnam’s government continues to position its textile industry as a key export sector, with exports exceeding USD 17.58 billion in the first five months of 2025, up 9% year-on-year. Alongside this, the country is also a major textile and machinery importer, making international collaboration essential to strengthening its value chain. This is reflected in strong exhibitor interest in the third edition of the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT), to be held from 26–28 February 2026 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
The fair is expanding its show floor by 20% compared to 2025, with a focus on developing Vietnam’s fashion sector, upgrading domestic technology, boosting sustainability and supporting technical textiles. It provides a platform for both international suppliers to access the Vietnamese and ASEAN markets, and local companies to connect with global buyers.
Confirmed exhibitors in the apparel sector include Thomas Mason by Albini 1876, Drago SpA, Murata Machinery, Yagi & Co, Tamurakoma & Co, IDOLE Trading, Alumo AG and Thomas Clifford Ltd. For home and contract textiles, participants include CoolisT Life Technology, Hangzhou Huafang Fabric and Hangzhou Suntek Textile. Technical exhibitors range from Sarex Chemicals and UltraTech Asia to AiDLab, which will return to present its WiseEye AI inspection system.
The event will also highlight sustainability through Econogy Hub, Econogy Talks, and a wide range of eco-focused exhibitors such as Covation Biomaterials and Stylem Takisada-Osaka. The fair’s green direction reflects Vietnam’s government commitment to a circular economy and renewable energy transition.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, VIATT 2026 builds on the success of its 2025 edition with more exhibitors, visitors and innovations anticipated.
