The Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) will return to the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) from 26 to 28 February 2026 with a significantly expanded footprint and new dedicated product zones. Following a nearly 13% increase in exhibitors at its second edition, the 2026 event will grow by 20% to occupy 18,000 square metres across Halls A and B.
New additions to the exhibition include specific areas for apparel, fashion accessories, and textile chemicals and dyes, reinforcing Vietnam’s rising status as an integrated textile hub. Despite global challenges, Vietnam remains a key strategic location, supported by 17 next-generation free trade agreements that facilitate market diversification and international partnerships.
Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, said: “VIATT has proven essential in accelerating Vietnam’s textile industry transformation. The expansion next year and its strong trend focus will support the country’s shift towards innovative, sustainable and high-value production.”
The 2026 edition will introduce features such as trend forums, designer fashion shows, and the return of the Econogy Hub spotlighting sustainable materials and closed-loop technologies aligned with Vietnam’s 2050 circular economy goals. The Innovation & Digital Solution Zone will highlight digital tools and automation for enhanced supply chain and production efficiencies.
Vietnam’s textile and garment sector generated over USD 44 billion in 2024 and aims for USD 48 billion in 2025. In response to this upward trend, VIATT 2026 will broaden its finished apparel category, including a new Fashion Label Zone for boutique brands and a Fashion Accessories Zone covering items like bags, jewellery and footwear.
Major brands attending VIATT 2025 included Nike, Zara, American Eagle, Lululemon, Decathlon, and M&S, alongside strong regional interest from buyers across Southeast Asia. Mr Bao Jia Cheng from Shaoxing Sunsmile Textile Co Ltd praised the fair’s role in connecting suppliers to key Asian markets and providing quality buyer interactions.
The home textiles sector is also growing rapidly in Vietnam, with the market expected to rise from USD 3 billion in 2025 to nearly USD 4 billion by 2030. VIATT 2026 will increase focus on contract and residential applications, offering displays of luxury bedding, bath textiles, upholstery and curtains, drawing continued interest from brands like IKEA, Muji and Novotel.
To support environmentally responsible sourcing, the Econogy Check will continue verifying exhibitor sustainability claims, with successful companies featured in the online Econogy Finder directory.
On the technical front, VIATT will extend its offering to include a new Textile Chemicals & Dyes Zone, showcasing inputs for processes such as chemical recycling, fibre production, and textile finishing. This complements growing interest in performance textiles across sectors including automotive, medical, protective wear and smart fabrics.
VIATT is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and VIETRADE. The next edition takes place 26–28 February 2026.
