Functional Fabric Fair powered by Performance Days is set to expand in 2026 with the addition of a new winter edition in Orlando, Florida. Scheduled for 21–22 January 2026 at the Orange County Convention Center’s Tangerine Ballroom, the event will run concurrently with the PGA Show, the golf industry’s largest global business gathering.
This latest addition marks the Fair’s fourth edition, joining the established spring and autumn events in Portland, Oregon, and the summer edition in New York City. The Orlando show will feature 75 curated exhibitors and include educational features such as the Trend Forum and Expert Talks. Free registration opens in September 2025 for verified industry professionals and will remain separate from PGA Show registration.
Initially launched following the PGA Show’s 2016 move to introduce a raw materials sourcing area, Functional Fabric Fair has rapidly grown. From just 30 exhibitors in 2017, it reached 68 by 2018, responding to increased demand for high-performance and sustainable textiles. In 2018, the Fair launched its own branded summer edition, widening its focus to serve the outdoor, sport and fashion sectors.
Today, Functional Fabric Fair hosts over 1,000 exhibitors annually and attracts more than 8,000 visitors. Each edition maintains strict sustainability and manufacturing criteria for exhibitors, ensuring a reliable platform for responsible sourcing.
“There is an exciting crossover between the performance needs of the golf industry and the advanced textile technologies featured at Functional Fabric Fair,” said Steve McCullough, Event Vice President. “We are thrilled to bring our sourcing platform back to Orlando during the PGA Show.”
Before the new winter edition, the next event in the series will be the summer edition at New York’s Javits Center on 22–23 July 2025, preceded by a Day 0 Sustainability Workshop on 21 July. The exhibition will showcase over 150 sustainability-certified suppliers presenting solutions for the Summer 2026/2027 seasons.
