Functional Fabric Fair powered by Performance Days will launch its first Winter Edition in Orlando, Florida, on 21 and 22 January 2026, running alongside the PGA Show at the Orange County Convention Center. The new event marks a strategic expansion of the trade-only sourcing platform, bringing high-performance and sustainable textile innovation directly to the golf, activewear and outdoor markets during one of the industry’s most influential global gatherings.
The Winter Edition will welcome more than 90 curated exhibitors showcasing advanced functional fabrics and materials, with a strong focus on performance, responsibility and innovation. Alongside the exhibition, the event will host an extensive programme of Expert Talks and a Trend Forum, offering brands insight into emerging material developments, colour and trend directions, and evolving regulatory and sustainability requirements.
Education is central to the Orlando launch, with two full days of Expert Talks placing particular emphasis on Textile-to-Textile recycling as a cornerstone of the circular textile economy. Industry specialists will explore current technologies, materials and systems, while also addressing challenges around feedstocks, regulation and scalability. Additional sessions will examine performance colour trends, comfort science, cooling technologies, natural performance fabrics and the future demands of modern golf apparel.
An evening networking happy hour at the end of the first day will provide an informal setting for exhibitors, brands and industry leaders to continue discussions and build new connections following the educational programme.
According to Steve McCullough, Event Vice President of Functional Fabric Fair, launching a Winter Edition alongside the PGA Show allows the event to connect with decision-makers at the point where innovation and sourcing choices are actively being made. He noted that the Orlando edition has been designed to be education-led, combining practical insight with curated sourcing and meaningful networking to support smarter product development across the performance apparel industry.
Functional Fabric Fair Winter is open exclusively to verified industry professionals and requires separate free registration from the PGA Show. Both events will take place within the Orange County Convention Center, enabling attendees to move easily between sourcing, education and networking opportunities across the two shows.
