BOI, the Berlin-based knit studio and brand founded in 2022 by designer Goran Sidjimovski, has introduced a new series of knitted interior products alongside a special collaboration with Edinburgh designer Leigh Bagley.

Known for its hands-on experimentation and technical flat knitting expertise, BOI continues to build its vision for contemporary knitted home textiles, maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability. All textiles are knitted directly into shape using natural, organic or recycled fibres, produced locally in Berlin with a zero-waste approach.

Following the success of its previous collections, BOI now expands its range with pieces that further explore form, materiality and the expressive potential of knit. The new collection includes blankets, pillowcases and table mats, and introduces a line of organic cotton kitchen towels. These additions feature refined monochrome palettes, evolved surface structures and eco-conscious textile options for dining and living spaces. They also reinforce BOI’s interest in organic, fluid and non-linear design languages.

In parallel with the launch, BOI announces a collaboration with textile and graphic designer Leigh Bagley, celebrated for his bold use of colour and geometric abstraction. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Bagley’s practice spans bespoke murals, wallpapers and large-scale installations for international clients, grounded in a meticulous study of proportion, rhythm and perception.

The collaborative blankets translate Bagley’s geometric compositions into tactile knitted artefacts, uniting digital precision with the sensory qualities and natural irregularities of knit. Through BOI’s technical development, the designer’s layered shapes have been reimagined in a reduced palette and enhanced by shifts in yarn behaviour, tension and knitted structure. The resulting pieces combine graphic clarity with softness and depth, offering a fresh expression of geometry in everyday interior objects.

Together, BOI and Bagley present a dialogue between craft and technology, colour and material, intuition and structure. The collaboration marks an important step in BOI’s evolving practice and underlines the studio’s ambition to redefine the role of knit within contemporary interior design.
