Registration has opened for the Summer 2025 edition of the Functional Fabric Fair, scheduled for 21–23 July at the Javits Center in New York City. Organised by RX and powered by Performance Days, the show will introduce a new feature this year — the Day 0 Sustainability Workshop — debuting on 21 July, one day ahead of the main exhibition.
Positioned as the leading sourcing event in the United States for performance textiles and material innovation, the show will welcome over 140 certified sustainable suppliers. These exhibitors will present the latest in textiles and technologies aimed at the Summer 2026/2027 seasons.
The newly launched Day 0 Sustainability Workshop is a full-day programme intended to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the supply chain. Open to industry professionals and students, the paid-registration event will include expert seminars, practical workshops, roundtable discussions and real-world case studies, all focused on sustainable product development.
“We’re excited to return to New York City with a show that emphasises innovation and connections as well as impact,” said Steve McCullough, Event Vice President. “The new workshop will bring the conversation on sustainability directly to those shaping the future of apparel.”
Alongside the workshop, the main fair will offer networking opportunities and the popular Expert Talks sessions, featuring insights on colour and trend forecasting, new textile technologies, product design, and international trade considerations.
Hotel booking for attendees is now available at discounted rates through the official event block. Entry to the exhibition is free for verified professionals in fashion, outdoor, performance, and lifestyle apparel sectors.
